About

A new mum with very little, if any, cooking skills, I felt like I was short-changing my little man when it came to weaning. I wanted to make home-cooked, healthy, and interesting meals for him, but once he was past the basic puree stage, I found myself short of both time (small people are very time-intensive…) and inspiration.

I started scouring cookbooks, Twitter and the internet for quick and easy meals that would turn my little man into a bit of a foodie, and started to keep a record of all the recipes I found, tweaked to make my life easier and incorporating the food I always have in my fridge! So I thought, why not get these recipes out there, and see if other people want to share their own tot-friendly ideas? How about a community of parents sharing easy recipes and ideas? I’ve only got two rules – it’s got to be easy, and it’s got to be nutritious!

Few of these recipes are my own, and I will always credit the original source. Personally I’m a vegetarian but I do cook meat and fish for the little ‘un – I only use organic meat and always free-range eggs.
